Tomato Chutney
10 medium ( 1 kg ) ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped 2 large ( 400 g ) apples, peeled and chopped 2 medium ( 240 g ) onions, chopped 1 1/2 cups brown vinegar 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 1/ 4 teaspoon chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder 3/4 cup sultanas 1 clove garlic, crushed 2 teaspoons curry powder 2 teaspoons ground allspice
Sweat off the onion, garlic and spices add the rest of the ingredients and cook till reduced and sticky
